Description

The Square D MGA36500 I‑Line Circuit Breaker is a heavy-duty 3-pole, 500-amp molded case circuit breaker from the PowerPact™ M-Frame series manufactured by Schneider Electric under the Square D brand. It is designed to protect electrical distribution systems from overload and short-circuit conditions in industrial and commercial installations.

This breaker features an I-Line plug-in mounting design, allowing it to connect directly to I-Line panelboards and switchboards for fast installation and reliable electrical contact. The breaker operates at up to 600 VAC and includes an electronic ET 1.0 trip unit that provides long-time and instantaneous protection (LI) for improved system protection and coordination.

Built on the M-Frame platform, the MGA36500 offers strong fault interruption capability with ratings of 65 kA at 240 V, 35 kA at 480 V, and 18 kA at 600 V, ensuring safe operation in high-fault current environments such as switchboards, industrial plants, and commercial power distribution systems.
