Description
Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator
Beamex MC5 Multifunction Calibrator is a high-accuracy, portable documenting process calibrator designed for calibrating industrial instruments in field and laboratory environments. It is an all-in-one calibration device capable of measuring and generating pressure, temperature, electrical, and frequency signals, allowing technicians to perform a wide range of calibration tasks with a single instrument.
The MC5 features a modular design, enabling users to configure the calibrator according to their specific application requirements. It can be initially used as a pressure or temperature calibrator and later expanded into a full multifunction documenting calibrator with additional modules and capabilities.
Equipped with advanced measurement and simulation functions, the calibrator supports voltage, current, resistance, RTD, thermocouple, frequency, pulse, and pressure signals. With internal or external pressure modules and optional communication capabilities such as HART, Profibus, and Foundation Fieldbus, it can calibrate modern smart transmitters and process instruments used in industrial automation systems.
The instrument includes internal memory for storing calibration data and can communicate with calibration management software to automatically record results and generate calibration reports. Its rugged IP65-rated housing protects against dust, water, shock, and vibration, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
Although the MC5 was discontinued in 2014 and later replaced by the Beamex MC6 Advanced Field Calibrator and Communicator, it remains widely used for instrument calibration in industries such as oil and gas, power generation, chemical processing, and manufacturing.
