The Agilent / HP 83640L is a high-performance synthesized swept CW (Continuous Wave) generator operating over a frequency range of 10 MHz to 40 GHz. It serves as a specialized industry standard, combining the strict frequency precision of a synthesized RF source with the speed and flexibility of an analog sweep oscillator.

• Frequency Range: 10 MHz to 40 GHz.
• Standard Frequency Resolution: 1 kHz (can be upgraded to 1 Hz with Option 008).
• Calibrated Output Power: +10 dBm standard (leveled down to -20 dBm).
