Description

FLIR-E5 Thermal Imaging Camera is a professional handheld infrared camera designed for detecting temperature differences and identifying hidden problems in electrical systems, mechanical equipment, and building structures. It uses advanced infrared technology to capture thermal images, allowing users to quickly locate overheating components, insulation failures, moisture intrusion, and other issues without direct contact.

Equipped with a 120 × 90 pixel infrared detector (10,800 pixels) and MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, the FLIR E5 overlays visual camera details onto thermal images to improve clarity and make inspection results easier to interpret. This combination helps technicians identify problem areas faster and with greater accuracy during maintenance or troubleshooting tasks.

The camera features a focus-free lens and simple one-button operation, making it easy to use even for beginners. Its 3-inch color LCD display shows clear thermal images with multiple color palettes such as iron, rainbow, and black-and-white for better temperature visualization. The device also includes measurement tools such as spot temperature readings and min/max area detection to support detailed analysis.

Designed for field use, the FLIR E5 has a rugged, lightweight body and can withstand tough working environments. It operates within a temperature measurement range of –20 °C to 250 °C with an accuracy of ±2 °C or ±2% of reading, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial inspections. Captured images are stored as JPEG files with embedded temperature data, allowing them to be easily transferred to a computer via USB for reporting and documentation.

The FLIR E5 is widely used in electrical inspection, predictive maintenance, HVAC diagnostics, building inspection, and industrial troubleshooting, helping professionals detect problems early and reduce downtime or repair costs.
