The Megger MTO330 is an automated six-winding transformer ohmmeter designed to measure the DC resistance of transformer windings quickly and accurately. It is widely used in power utilities and maintenance operations to evaluate transformer condition, detect winding defects, and verify the performance of tap changers during commissioning or routine maintenance.

Megger MTO330 features an automated 8-terminal measurement system that allows testing of all three phases and six windings of a transformer without disconnecting and reconnecting test leads. This one-time connection approach significantly reduces setup time and minimizes connection errors during testing.

Using simultaneous winding magnetization (SWM) technology, the MTO330 provides fast and stable resistance measurements even on large transformers with high inductance. The unit can supply DC test currents up to 10 A, enabling accurate measurement of winding resistance from micro-ohms to several ohms.

The MTO330 is equipped with a built-in computer running PowerDB software, an 8.4-inch color display, and internal memory for storing test results. The system also includes safety features such as automatic discharge and core demagnetization, which protect both the operator and the transformer after testing.

Designed for field use, the instrument is housed in a rugged portable case and supports USB/Ethernet connectivity for transferring test data and generating detailed transformer diagnostic reports.
