Description

The Olympus OmniScan MX2 is a high-performance portable phased array ultrasonic flaw detector designed for advanced non-destructive testing (NDT) and industrial inspection. It combines phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT), conventional ultrasonic testing (UT), and TOFD (Time-of-Flight Diffraction) technologies to detect internal flaws, cracks, corrosion, and weld defects in materials.

The instrument features a large 10.4-inch color touchscreen display, modular hardware architecture, and powerful inspection software that enables fast setup, high acquisition rates, and detailed imaging of inspected components. Its modular design allows users to configure the system with different inspection modules such as PA, UT, eddy current, and eddy current array, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
